Totally recommend for a short stayover

Clean room, friendly staff, with direct beach access and a lovely outdoor swimming pool made our stay enjoyable, and the reasonable price was a big plus.

The motel is old and could use some updates

Location is excellent, right by the beach with nice access. A/C in the room wasn't working well, made it uncomfortable at night.

The stay offered a fantastic location right by the beach, which made accessing the sand super easy. The staff were welcoming and helpful, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, there was an issue with the A/C in the room, making it uncomfortable during the humid nights. Overall, it was a nice spot to spend time with friends and enjoy the beach vibe.

In my wife’s opinion, the room could have had better linens. For families with children, providing more amenities like beach towels and kitchen supplies would be a major plus.

We enjoyed the beach and explored some local restaurants. Great location with easy access to the sand. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. Just remember to bring extra towels, as they don’t change them daily.

One downside was that the A/C in our room wasn’t working well, just felt like a fan blowing warm air, making it tough to sleep in the humidity.

The Sand Castle Motel had a great beachy vibe with its charming decor. The location was just perfect—only a short walk to the beach. I loved how friendly the staff were. they made the check-in process super smooth and welcoming. My room had a nice kitchenette, which was a pleasant surprise, and it was clean overall. However, the air conditioning left a lot to be desired. it struggled to keep the room cool, especially in the humid summer weather. The bathroom plumbing could use some fixing up as well. Just be sure to bring your own coffee filters and supplies since they don't provide much for the kitchen. The noise level from the nearby street was noticeable at times but manageable. For the price, it offered a decent stay, but some maintenance upgrades would really enhance the experience.
